Description Wood engraving with colored pencil of Raven's Barbecue Hat by Dale DeArmond. Print shows a man's profile facing the proper left. His clothes are black, yellow-orange, and white. His hat has the form of a raven with the wings on the side, tail protruding from the back and head and beak protuding to the top and front. There is another bird's beak on the front side. Hat is shaded with brown, blue, grey, white, gold and green pencil. Fur is dangling from the top of the raven's head. Print ink is black. Background of print is shades of orange and yellow. Decorative boarder around edge. Text written in pencil below decorative edge of print reads: "Raven's Barbecue Hat 1/25 D. DeArmond - imp c 95". The "c" is the copyright sign of a c with in a circle. Top edge of paper uncut/finished.

According to Certificate of Authenticity the hat is a "crest hat of carved wood topped with two woven potlatch rings and winter ermine skins. The story tells how Raven invited the birds to a salmon barbecue and tricked them into going over the mountains for fresh leaves while he ate the salmon himself."
