Description:
Brass faucet has moveable handle with five knobs protruding from middle. At top is white porcelain section with patentee name and "COLD" printed in black. Below handle is nozzle of faucet; screwed into base of nozzle is a nut that is moveable.
Inscription: Shanks & Co. Ltd. / COLD / Patentees
Notes:
Princess Sophia struck rocks on Vanderbilt Reef on October 24, 1918, sliding off them on Oct. 25. All 343 passengers & crew died.
