Mushroom Shaped Insulator
Description:
Small shiny brown mushroom—shaped insulator. Small rounded pedestal flares outward to form skirt. Top is unglazed and has small flat circular piece of metal attached to it. Bottom also has piece of metal attached. Center hole is grooved.
Notes:
Found in collections in Last Chance Mining Museum. (Compressor Building). These objects were acquired when city purchased Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. properties in 1974 from AEL&P who had purchased the properties from Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. in 1972.
