D—G — nearly smooth with suggestions of spiral cords, pearly white to grayish and brown.
A — 1.5 inches by .875 inch by .625 inch.
B — 1.125 inches by .625 inch by .5 inch.
C—F — 1 inch by .625 inch by .5 inch.
G — .75 inch by .5 inch by .5 inch.
Notes:
A—C— lived in protected areas
D—G — lived in areas w/ more water action.
Donor's label reads: A—C — "BIG—MOUTHED WELK—Volutharpa Apmpullacea (about 1" high, nearly all body whorl, large aperature" (sic).
D—G — "LITTORINA (Periwinkle) Upper rocky beach area".
