Small souvenir spoon with gold nugget at tip of handle
Description:
A small, metal spoon with a gold nugget attached to its handle. On the back is a logo, "CH&S".
Notes:
As per June Hall, the back of this spoon is called "fiddle back" and the spoon itslef was a standard issue. The nugget was added later. Typically, a miner or tourist would take a nugget into a jeweler to have it attached to a standard issue spoon during the gold rush era.
