Description:
Steel spring—loaded handcuffs made from stationary body part that is wide and flat with slight curve, rounded ends, and moving part that is narrow continuous curve. Holes inside curve near free end. Hinge end is almost triangular in shape and rotates around semicircle of curved end of body of handcuff. Body is attached by sturdy hinge to ring that joins two cuffs by long link. One cuff reads "THE MALTBY" "PAT'D NOV 12 O1", other "DEPT OF JUSTICE" & "MANUFACTURED BY THE MATTATUCK MFG CO WATERBURY, CONN USA"
