Description:
A — Anemometer in black painted cylindrical housing. Center mounted circular gauge attached at rear to eight fan blades. Gauge to 100 in one—foot increments, second hand giving accumulated readings to 1000 feet. Three—armed support at rear. Brass finger loop screwed to top of housing, with a disconnect lever at top front.
B — Rigid sewn—leather, purple plush—lined case has top cover flap with slit loop fastener over brass knob. "BD Stewart" scratched into leather. Small hand strap on top. Papers inside case:

Penciled receipt signed by "BDS" dated 6/23/41, "Rec'd from Fiedler in temp exchange for Taylor anemometer."

Logo: Arrow pointing left with superimposed "M" & "S" in middle of arrow. "London" at bottom of arrow. "Arrow" & "London" split by initials.
