Description:
Five—inch steel casting (spinning) rod. Cork handle. Aluminum rod holder with trigger finger. Gold—brown paint to look like fiber glass. Four stainless steel eyes with tip guide. "Heddon / Pal / #751 5' — L" handwritten on rod. Nylon or linen wrappings to fasten eyes. Varnished overall except handle. "HEDDON PAL" embossed on handle "U.S. PATENTS. 1961969 / 19611970. 1962869" on reel bracket. Knurled screw to secure reel into bracket.

See 2002.11.012. Used during 1950's — 1970's for trout fishing with spinning reel usually with small spoons.
