Notes:
Used by U.S. Bureau of Mines field crews. Safety pins indicate inadequacy of tent door closure and conditions in which tent was used.
This is a typical U.S. Army surplus tent, a style used by both private and government field parties.
Storage bag typical of tent vintage though original tent storage bags require tent to be tightly folded and rolled to fit. This bag likely more convienent requiring much less folding and rolling. Stake likely hand made, not bring part of a typical army tent.
Image of tent with original safety pins in edges, now removed.
