Sample of 8 buttons from mining sites
Description:
Eight buttons of similar size and description. Five of the buttons are made of a plastic material and have four holes each in their middles for attachment. There are three buttons which are made of abalone shell presumably. Two of these buttons just have two holes in their middle for attachment and the other has four holes. They are labeled A—H.
A: is a shell button with no concave middle and two holes.
B: is a small shell button with a concave middle and two holes.
C: is a shell button with a concave middle and four holes.
D: is a plastic button with a concave middle and four holes.
E: is a small plastic button with a concave middle and four holes.
F: is a plastic button with a concave middle and a convex back and four holes.
G: is a plastic button with a concave middle and four holes, it is smaller than D, but bigger than E.
H: is a plastic button with a concave middle and four holes and is the largest of the buttons.
