German silver mesh purse
Description:
Mesh purse of basic rectangular shape, pansy—like floral design on clasp and hinge area at top, most of sides and bottom edge of mesh. Six small pendant balls hang decoratively from bottom of bag. Clasp is two offset balls that friction past each other. Strap extends up about 7". Monogramed on center of one side of clasp "MMM" in script. Stanped inside "GERMAN SILVER" "Soldfrid (?) mesh"
Notes:
German silver contains nickel, copper and other metals, but no silver.
