Double—sided ribbon has metal fringe, with clasp pin.
Side 1: Black ribbon with silver lettering reads 'DOUGLAS AERIE NO. 117 F.O.E. DOUGLAS, ALASKA". Hanging above is metal pin with scroll work reading "DOUGLAS AERIE NO. 117". Hanging on chain below is tag reading "MEMBER" with an eagle charm. Across eagle's wings and breast are initials "FOE"
Side 2 : Red, white, and blue vertical stripes. In silver is "DOUGLAS…"
Back of pin reads: "THE M.C. LILLEY & CO. COLUMBUS, O."
Notes:
Pin could be reversed. Black side worn for death of members; red, white & blue side for normal use.
