Description:
A — Blue wool blazer style jacket with four patch pockets and navy flaps, notched collar and labels, long straight sleeves. Navy epaulets, each held in place w/ brass button and gold coiled wire patch. Each sleeve has shoulder patches identifying "Juneau Police" and 2 gold woven stripes, 3" above sleeve hem. Stitched to left sleeve, gold star on navy circle, 3 gold bars stitched on square navy patch. Gold metal buttons with letter "P" on epaulets, pocket flaps and center front closure. Metal plate stitched above left breast pocket to attach badge. Belt loops consist of 4 metal prong held in place with stitched leather patches. Black rayon lining with owner's initials embroidered above manufacture's label. Back vent pleat.
B — Blue wool regulation officer's shirt with navy epaulets, cuffs, pocket flaps, long sleeves with elbow patches, 2 breast pockets, pointed collar and cloth patch w/ grommets to hold badge on left front. Each sleeve has shoulder patch: 1 identifying "Capital City / Juneau, Alaska" and other "Alaska Purchase Centennial 1867—1967". Front buttons missing; only 3 small plastic buttons stitched on.
C — Blue wool trouser style slacks with1inch navy stripe full length of side seam. Waistband with cloth loops, front pockets in side seam. 3 back hip pockets (2 on 1 side), 1 watch pocket on right front. Hems have leather strips stitched inside to protect fabric.
Inscription: A — Jacket — "CUSTOM TAILORED / UNION MADE / GERBER / MFG. CO. / MISHAWAKA, IND. / ALL WOOL" white letter lettering on black rayon manufacturer's patch.
B — Shirt — "REGULATION / OFFICER'S SHIRT / FORM FITTING / EXPRESSLY TAILORED FOR / NUDELMAN BROS. / PORTLAND, SEATTLE" red lettering on tan rayon manufacturer's patch
