Floyd Dryden's WWI Victory Medals
Description:
A — World War I Victory Medal given to Floyd Dryden. Medal is round, 0. 0625 inches thick and 1.5 inches in diameter, made of bronze—colored metal. Raised image of angel with spiked crown, sword and shield stamped on front; American shield and names of thirteen nations (France, Italy, Serbia, Japan, Montenegro, Greece, Great Britain, Belgium, Brazil, Portugal, Rumania, China) stamped on back, along with words "The Great War For Civilization" across top and six stars across bottom. Medal hangs from ribbon by means of metal rings. Ribbon is 1.0 inches long in center, 0.33 inches long at edges, and printed with vertical rainbow—striped pattern (purple at both edges, red in center). Bronze—colored bar—clasp pin affixed to top of ribbon
