A) 1983 Blue, pink, white "Elect Fran Ulmer Mayor" with paper attached about voting
B) Red white and blue "Think Alaska "Red" Governor" refers to Red Boucher
C)White with dots and some red, "Bruce Botelho Assembly"
D) Yellow with industrial pattern and words "NOT ON MY WATERFRONT YOU DON'T!"
E) White button with green script "Waterfront Park Hotel Juneau, Alaska" refers to a hotel they planned to put on the waterfront (so does D)
F) It's OK to vote No on 1 School"
G) Black and red button "Vote No 2" (refers to school)
H) Yellow with Alaska shape and black type, "People & Alaska before Oil Profits"
I) Green button "We're for Freer" refers to Peter Freer who is now a city planner
J) White button with black 2% and a red circle and slash mark through it refers to sales tax
K) Red with white type, "Protect Subsistence VOTE AGAINST measure #7"
L) Yellow with black type Vote "yes" on 3 refers to Valley school around 1999
Notes:
Dennis has been active in local protests and politics for a long time. He was the campaign manager for Jim Duncan when he ran for assembly. Duncan was head of public employees Union , ran for house and also ran for governor. Mention of Willie Hensley who came from Kotzebue and was the youngest to hold office in the state house at 19. Also ran for congress.
