Metered, Comparative Weight Balance
Long silver metal scale with two trays for weighting substances. At one end is a scale head. The first tray (closest to the scale head) is round. The second tray is square with the side closest to the round tray bent purposefully upward. On side below trays is a moveable weight that slides up and down a balance.

Used to compare a known wieght with a sample. The sample could then be increased or decreased to match the weight. Used in chemical laboratory.
