Description:
Khaki green canvas pouch—type backpack. Flap top secured by two 0.8125 inches by 8.25 inches straps with metal tips and metal buckles which are attached with leather patches and two metal brads. 10.25 inches by 12.5 inches inner pocket sewn with shallow flap with metal snap. Two shoulder straps of 1.75 inches strapping are attached by leather trapezoid 5.33 inches by 2.5 inches with sewing and four metal brads, reinforced on inside by 0.625 inches x 4.125 inches by 0.09 inches strip of red leather. They are secured at bottom by two metal buckles attached with leather patches and two metal brads.
Inscription: "SHELBY S." printed by hand in black ink.
