Description:
A and B — 17.875 inch by 4.125 inch by 1 inch rounded black painted metal handle with grooved metal adjusting rod. Encircling grooved metal rod at one end is straight—sided piece that curves at end. Sandwiched in middle are two sharp cutting disks. Metal rod is movable and also has disk.
Inscription: a—b — "B8"
Notes:
Donor's father, Glen Oakes, was stockkeeper/wharfinger for A.J. Mine. Started at Treadwell 1913, then to A.J. 1916. Retired 1962. (Pat Oakes, daughter).
