Brass cylinder rain gauge. One end open, other end covered with cast brass maker. Stem used to measure rainfall. Inscription in circle: "U.S. WEATHER BUREAU" [round inside of circle] "W. S. JENK'S / WASH. D.C." [middle of circle].
