Description:
Heavy embossing stamp has vertical black enamel pivoting handle with molded curve at top. Upper portion behind and above seal is gold—painted form of beast (probably lion) with seal descending out of its widely gaping mouth. Entire piece is bolted front and back with .5625—inch diameter screws on .75—inch slab of steel. Upper seal is recessed brass, lower seal is raised silver. Stars and arrows on seal. Inscriptions around edge and in center.
Inscription: CITY OF JUNEAU / ALASKA / INCORPORATED / JUNE 29, 1900
