Aqua glass bottle, has Gordon's Dry Gin in raised lettering on front of bottle and London proper left and England proper right in raised letters on bottle. On back in raised lettering is recd610617. On bottom of bottle there is an emblem (animal motif) possibly a griffin head or a bird head. Bottom is pushed up into bottle reminiscent of early machine made bottles (see "The Antique Bottle Collector" by Grace Kendrick) To proper left of the emblem is the number 15. Various air bubbles visible throughout the glass. The neck has about a 1.0 inch diagonal crack running from middle neck to below the collar. Collar show cracking along entire circumference.

Probably made post 1900 due to seams on both sides indicating machine made bottle according to the book "The Antique Bottle Collector" by Grace Kendrick found in the museum reference section.
Notes:
Collection donated by Linda Wahto, brought in by donor's daughter Myiia Whistler. According to Whistler, Wahto and Willette Janes would hunt bottles together. Bottles found in Treadwell/Douglas area. Some are from Myiia's grandfather's house/cabin on the Treadwell Ditch. He grew up there — they tossed garbage into the ditch. Mom/Grandma and Janes would bottle hunt up at the cabin site.
