Description:
Oil painting titled "Krill Krazy."

Oil painting on canvas. The canvas is essentially split into three parts by two horizontal lines. On the bottom of the canvas are three whales and the words "KRILL KRAZY." The first "K" in krill is formed by the front fins of the largest whale. The center section of the canvas is dominated by the blow spouts of the whales in the lower section. These spouts are depicted as ice cream cones. The background of the center section is gold. The upper section of the painting consists of twenty (20) vertical colums of various color. Over top of these background colors is the image of a krill. The krill is holding a lollipop and a candy cane in two of its three long "feelers." Other bits of candy are painted on the canvas in front of the krill
Notes:
Clair described this work at "Southeast Alaska with a twist." He wanted to do a different take on humpback whales, and he enjoys doing work for a younger audience.
