Description:
Cylindrica black signal lamp.
Front — Hinged latched door with magnifying glass lens.
Inside — Spring sliding panel with brass knob behind which is reflecting surface, kerosene lamp assemblage with wick.
Back — Two moveable hand grips, clip for attaching to wall bracket.
Top: Double fluted "chimney pot".
Bottom: Three concentric rings of holes, Four knobs (feet).
Inscription: "BOAT SIGNAL" engraved on front of lamp above lens opening.
"CORNING MADE IN U.S.A. 3 DX 2 3/4 F.S.O. B" embossed on glass lens.
Logo on back — (in oval) (around inside) "PERKINS MARINE LAMP AND HARDWARE CORP.
BROOKLYN, N.Y. USA"
In center of oval: "PERKO / REG. TRADE MARK"
On wick turner: "PERKO U.S.A."
