Juneau Elks Lodge Token, Brass
Description:
Small brass token 1.375 inch in diameter front has raised lettering B.P.O.E. around bottom edge and raised figure of elk on top of clock face w/ roman numerals showing 11:00. Back has raised lettering saying "JUNEAU LODGE #420" along top "ALASKA'S MOTHER LODGE" in middle and "'87TH YEAR OF ALASKA ELKDOM" along bottom. Top of coin has small hole punched though "L" of Lodge.
Notes:
Elk's token possibly owed by Leonard Harju's father, George Harju, who died in 1954.
