Description:
A — Hinged folding lantern in opening position. Cuboid with triangular hinged lid, cuboid section has muscovite panels on three sides, left and right side have ventilation slits below mica. Base has "candle holder" in center and ventilation holes. Back in reflection panel which also serves as holder for spare muscovite sheets. Hinged lid is triangular prism with openings for ventilation, wire clip attaches to base. Bale for carrying, hole in back (for hanging?). In closed position lamp is hinged to fold flat, 7.25 inches by 4.25 inches by 1 inch, wire clip (from lid) holds lamp closed, bail can be used as handle, hold can be used for hanging.
B—C — Spare muscovite sheets. Sheets not labelled because too fragile and will likely never be removed from inside lamp storage.
Inscription: Embossed on folding lid: Front: "STONEBRIDGE / FOLDING LANTERN / PAT'D NOV 22 19... JUNE 4 1908 / (?) H. STONEBRIDGE / N.Y. / MADE IN U.S.A."
