Anahaw fan.
Woven fan, bright pink in color. Woven into the shape of a spade, with a handle at bottom. Pink fabric ruffle, fixed to the front edge of the fan with glue, seven(7) plastic pearls glued to the ruffle. One large plastic pearl glued to the center of the fan. Three pink, reflective, plastic sequins attached to the flat center section of the fan, two of these pieces are cloud shaped and the third is round.
Reverse of fan has no decoration.
Notes:
Fan is woven from dried anahaw leaves. Anahaw is the national leaf of the Philipines. It is a ladies accessory that is very important during the hot months of the summer.
