Description:
A — 46 inch by 1.25 inch metal telescoping rod in 4 sections with 4 guides. Shaft sections painted black. Shaft attached to cork covered handle with chromed metal ferrule covering juncture. Chromed metal shaft below handle has sliding ring and slot for attaching reel.
B — 3.25 inch by 2.25 inch chrome and gray painted metal housing holds black reel on spindle. 0.75 inch handle attached directly to side of reel. Face of reel is perforated by 20 holes. Plate over spindle of reel. Remnants of line attached to reel.
Inscription: A — "Homaco, Bristol, Conn." under reel mount.
B — "Langley" on plate.
"Model 185 / FA" on face
"RIFFLE" under silver disc.
