One or both Jenne sisters volunteered at the USO club, which was on Seward St. between Front St. and Marine Way. After the war, when the USO closed, it reopened as the Teenage Club. Both were run by Zach Gordon. After the building was torn down, Zack raised money to build the present teenage club, between Whittier St and Willougby St. It was later renamed the Zach Gordon Youth Center.
