Two map measurers
Description:
A — Map measuring tool, silver metal. Face is round, approximately. 1.25 inches in diameter, white with concentric scales (1:80.000 and 1:100.000 conversions) printed in black and rotating needle affixed to center of dial. .75 inch long handle with metal ring at end attached to top of frame above dial. F C Déposé" engraved on frame below dial around an etching of a castle; at bottom of frame is a rotating .25 inch—diameter wheel on same plane as dial.

B — Map measuring tool, silver metal. Face is round, approximately. 1.25" in diameter, white with concentric scales (1:20.000, 1:40.000, and 1:80.000 conversions) printed in black, rotating needle affixed to center of dial, and protective glass covering. Back of face is identical, but with different scales (1:25.000, 1:50.000, and 1:100.000 conversions); glass and needle are missing from this side. 2.75"—long hexagonal handle attached to top of frame above dial. "Déposé H C" engraved on frame below dial around an etching of a map—measurer—like outline; at bottom of frame is a rotating .25"—diameter wheel on same plane as dial.
Notes:
Converts distances on map into actual mileage; user would trace route on map, and dial would rotate as wheel turned, indicating actual mileage according to map's scale.
