Gill Net With Wooden Corks
Description:
A — Gill net made of cotton net attached to three—quarter inch rope. Laced on rope are twenty—three six—inch cedar(?) floats. Center of net is weighted with numerous 1.75—inch zinc(?) weights wrapped around .375—inch cord. Also attached to cord is 9.75 inch diameter copper ring.
B — 6 inches by 3.25 inches oval—shaped piece of cedar(?) float with opening running lengthwise to slide on rope. Wood grain runs lengthwise and is very fine/clean.
Item too fragile to measure.

From Daisy Fagerstrom Williams home @ 17025 Glacier Hwy (Lena Cove), John Holmquist is her nephew. Home purchased by donor in 1974.
