Description:
A—Y — Decoys are cardboard printed in black and coated with wax on all sides. The two pieces that form body are stapled together at tail and along edge of back. Two metal eyelets on each side are for metal stand. Metal eyelet at neck has neck and headpiece sandwiched between back pieces; neck pivots out of storage position inside body to upright position. Printing shows "photographic reproduction of" feather patterns, neck stripe, eyes, belly. 12 geese include white Snow Goose (M), four small geese (N—Q), and seven large geese (R—X). 12 metal stands (A—L) have trapezoidal plate with tabs at all four corners and rod extending down from center. (Y) is canvas bag with drawstring opening. Two printed labels inside geese advertise duck decoys.
Rods: (A—L) 19.75 inches by 5.375 inches by .24 inches; (Y) 28 inches by 11 inches.
All geese are .25 inches thick.
M — Open: 27.25 inches by 15 inches; closed: 21.25 inches by 8.75 inches.
N—Q — Open: 20.75 inches by 15 inches; closed: 19.5 inches by 7.75 inches.
V—X — Open: 27.25 inches by 18.5 inches; closed: 24 inches by 9.75 inches.
Inscription: Y — ONE DOZEN COMPLETE / JOHNSON'S / FOLDING / GOOSE DECOYS
