Description:
Two squares of material, one black silk velvet, one pink silk faille, stitched together with pink cotton embroidery in cross stitch pattern on outside edges. Two—inch letters embroidered on black velvet in one corner. Proper left lower corner folded to front to reveal approximately 6.5—inch triangle of backing, held in place by pink silk bow stitched to velvet.
Inscription: E.W.
Notes:
"E.W." stands for Edward Webster. Verna implied that this was made for Mr. Webster by a friend.
