Description:
A — Hand crank meat grinder has flared opening at top, wing bolt screw and vise below, 9.75—inch long handle for crank, internal forcing screw, and grinder insert, which is screwed down with wing bolt. Handle has foreign patent numbers including date. Main body has company's name. Also has three more grinder inserts.
B — 2.125 inches in diameter.
C — 1.75 inches in diameter with 16 teeth.
D — 1.75 inches in diameter with 10 teeth.
Inscription: "1897" on handle
"L.F. & CO. NEW BRITAIN CONN U.S.A. / NO. 2 / UNIVERSAL FOOD CHOPPER" on main body.
Notes:
Used by donor's family.
