Frances Davis oil paining of two polar bears.
Oil painting with a silver and brown speckled frame and light brown matting. Image contains two polar bears on a glacier or an iceberg on the edge of the sea. The two polar bears are at a distance from one another with one set in the back of the painting and the other prominently in the front. High green, blue and white ice are also present with one arching over the more prominent bear's body. A gold plate is affixed to the matting and reads 'Frances Brooks Davis, 1855—1932.'
