Description:
Off—white linen handkerchief with elaborate tatted border and top proper left corner. Majority of handkerchief is plain linen, edge has 3 rows of small round holes, which goes around entire handkerchief. Large loop and small loop connected with 2 threads. Large loop has 3 smaller loops around end made of 1 thread. Top proper left corner has very elaborate pattern of loops which look like flowers. Below lace in proper left corner are 7 French knots along edge of lace.

Handmade items belonged to Mary Monica (Hudson) Monagle. Handkerchief possibly made in 20s, 30s, 40s.
