A small, metal souvenir spoon with an elaborate design on the handle. Beginning at the base of the handle is a depiction of a dog sled with two dogs and a musher. There is also a label, "Alaska", and a depiction of a walrus and a polar bear on the ice floes. On the back is a logo, "P.E.K." and the word, "sterling".
Notes:
P.E.K. is the mark of Kirmse, a jeweler working in Skagway as per June Hall, who also says this is an early version of a spoon that was later reissued.
