Title:
Three metal railroad spikes
Description:
Three small, metal rail spikes for the mining cars of the Treadwell Mine. All measurements are from spike "A", but apply to all three artifacts. The rail spike is a rectangular piece of metal, probably steel, that has a bevel at one end for "spiking" into the ground and holding down the rails. The top of the spike is a flat head, that occurs after the spike is hammered into the rail trusses.
