Description:
Undergarment woman's white woven cotton with tatting at yoke, arms, edges, hem; button crotch, three 0.375 inch round, mother of pearl white buttons.
Front — deep V—shaped yoke; elaborate tatting forms neckline, shoulders and arms edges; feather stitching outlines lower yoke edge and interface of yoke and tatting; silk ribbon drawstring through at neck and arms edges.
Back — Yoke shallow "V", outlined with feather stitch (second row below tatting at top). Four two—dimensional, tatted motifs stitched to back yoke, two either side of center. Feather stitch outlines tatting at garment hem as well as at crotch (both button — carrying tab & button hole facing).
