Description:
35.5—inch rectangular banner comprised of horizontal red, blue, and white bands hand—stitched together. Embroidered gold letters on blue band. Gold tassels on outer corners. Banner is thumbtacked to 50.25—inch wood rod with carved gold—painted finial. Coiled teal and magenta silk cord with tassel ends was originally attached to banner rod. Blue band is double layer.

Acquired by donor at IOOF Hall in Juneau or at their closing sale ca.1985.

Banner was removed from the pole at some point, so there are now additional detached parts. The detached handle and two tacks are at XVII—B—1. Handle is marked .002A. Everything should be pulled, reviewed, renumbered and the catalog record updated, 06/29/2012, AEF.
