Description:
A — Ornate oak parlor organ has carved pediment, beveled mirror, decorative shelves set off with spindles, columns, music rack, ivory keys, 10 stops. Apron below keyboard has cut out design with red fabric backing. Two metal—plated pedal frames with red carpet at center bottom. Decorated with appliques and more carvings.
B — Stool has red tapestry seat resting on four turned legs with ball, claw feet, with brass.

Inscription: Carved on back: "WARRENTED 10 YEARS / GEORGE P. BENT / CHICAGO, U.S.A.
Notes:
Used and preserved by Pearce/Murray family.
Don Murray, donor, was married to Margaret Pearce.
Margaret was the daughter of Frank & Margaret Pearce, a pioneer family of Douglas/Treadwell.

This collection was donated through the Office of the Public Advocacy. Renee Gayhart was the case worker.
