Chinese Worker's Liquor Jar, Brown Glaze

Description:
Small dark brown satin glazed pottery liqueur jar. Jar has 3.25—inch flat base which rounds out to 4.25—inch wide middle shaped like ball. Six inches from bottom, jar narrows to 1.25 inch— wide neck which flares out to 2.25—inch lip. Glaze is dark brown with patches of tan and red throughout.
Notes:
Item loaned to museum for cold storage and fishing exhibit and later donated. Willette found it in Gamier Bay at old cannery site. Used for plum liqueur.
