Pencil drawing of a stylized "O" or eye a top a rectangular base. Inside the opening of the sculpture is a set of nine (9) horizontal wires representing water within which is a fish. On the face of the rectangle base is a plaque reading "JUNEAU 1850—1950", with additional indiscernible text underneath the dates. The sculpture is surrounded by buildings, vegetation, and landscape. There are mountains in the background. There is a boat in the water. Clouds in the sky. In the lower proper left corner is hand written text that reads: "JUNEAU CENTENNIAL 1980 \ COMMEMORATING MINING — FISHING AS FOUNDING FORCES". There is also a number "2". In the lower proper right corner is handwritten text reading: "SCALE 1" = 1' ". There is a white square sticker in the lower proper right corner with a black number "12".
