Description:
Wood engraving print of a Water Pipet from the Birds of Glacier Bay series. Print is on off—white paper. Print itself is rectangular. The block print is black ink and has hand colored with yellow, brown, and green details with colored pencils. Print is a water pipet bird standing in the grass. The bird is within a yellow oval. Each of the corners of the print have a green star and dot pattern. The grass is colored green. The bird has brown body and head. The bird's head is facing to the proper left. Underneath the print is handwritten pencil text reading: "Water pipet 1/25 D.DeArmond — imp c 95". The "c" is enclosed in a circle as the symbol for copyright.

Frame is red wood with a tan mat. The back has a blue paper dust cover, clear bottom bummers and a hanging wire. A silver sticker is along the lower edge at center and reads "rie munoz" and has an stylized illustration of a person holding a fishing pole and fish. The Certificate of Authenticity is attached to the dust cover. It is a piece of white paper with black ink. It lists the artist name, tittle, medium, block size, paper, record of printing, when and where the print was pulled and comments. It also has the artist's signature at the bottom.
Notes:
Hand Pulled by Artist at Sitka, Alaska on July 6—10, 1995. From the series Birds of Glacier Bay. A slim little bird which flicks its tail constantly. Common in Glacier Bay from late spring through early autumn.

Print is 1/25 of a 25 artist's edition series. Two artist's proofs were also made.
