Black Wooden Tabletop "Schmidt" Autoharp

Description:
Black painted wood autoharp with one side angled featuring steel strings affixed to tuning pegs at top and proper left side. Sounding hole in center and five dampers horizontally held over strings by bridges on two sides. Paper label gives notes for each string at bottom, paper label at top identifies it as trademark—registered "Autoharp". Plastic oval tags with small stacks label each damper. Edge trimmed with gold paint. Inscription near bottom of autoharp: "Manufactured and Trademark Registered by Oscar Schmidt Internation Inc. 87 Ferry St, Jersey City 7, N.J."

Autoharp used by Tiny Glass in 1940's & '50's at Northern Light Sunday School.
