Pulp Balance and Wooden Case with Glass Sides

Description:
A — 7.375 inches by 1.5 inches by 1.25 inches wooden case with glass sides to contain pulp balance. Front panel slides up with 0.6875 inches cylindrical bone handle. Front of bottom support has brass knob which adjusts height of balance. Brass support for balance is attached to base with ivory guage screwed to it.
B—C — 3.875 inches by 2.8125 inches by 0.25 inches round concave trays with flared handle. White metal. "D" has accretion adhered to underside to adjust weight.
D—E — 6.5 inches by 3.25 inches by 1.625 inches triangular brass balance arms which support trays. Apex of triangles suspended from hooks. Base of triangle supports round brass tray upon which "B" and "C" rest.
F — 7.75 inches by 9.625 inches by 0.9375 inches brass balance fulcrum, vertical flat indicator with horizontal axis with adjustable weight screws with removable 0.9375 inches by 0.5 inches by 0.125 inches black hooks on ends.
Notes:
According to Ray Renshaw, Dean Goodwin used this pulp balance and was owner of Ebba Mine. Dean like to fly around prospecting at various locations. He owned air service "Alaska Airplane Charter Company."
