A—B—D — Brass fitted w/ iron rods.
A — Bottom form

C — Interior form, no base cover
D — Lid with four filled holes.
Inscription:
D — "SSW" (superimposed) / Made in U.S. of A. / No. 40"
Small holes where A—B join may have had screws to hold securely.

Notes:
Dr. Harry Sloan practiced dentistry in Juneau prior to 1920, then moved to Seattle; then reportedly returned to Juneau & practiced w/ his son Dr. Harry P. Sloan, Jr. No evidence in phone books of 40's — 70's. Collection originally received about 1987.
