Description:
Lady's hat of gray wool felt shaped similar to inverted dinner plate. 0.75 inch black braid with sequins stitched to base of crown; shaft of black feather is laced through braid at front. Gray, short, face veil is tacked at sides and wrapped around front brim. Hat is held in place by metal loops, covered with gray grosgrain ribbon, stitched to inside of brim. Feather and sequins may have been added at later time.
