Description:
Child's white ermine fur cape with ermine ties and cotton lining. Narrow pelts of 1.5 inches — 1.75 inches are stitched together and lay horizontally. Two (?) pelts stitched together, end to end, forming stand—up collar and extending 13—14 inches from neckline to create ties. Lining very coarse, open—weave cotton with outside edges bound in cotton twill tape. Appears to be two layers of lining fabric. Handstitched.
