Description:
Oval—shaped iron hook and sheave bolted together by flat piece of metal, in center of which is grooved, rounded piece. One end is small grooved (concave) piece; the other end has a larger rounded object that is hook—shaped, attached by loop.
Notes:
Found in collections in Last Chance Mining Museum. (Compressor Building). These objects were acquired when city purchased Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. properties in 1974 from AEL&P who had purchased the properties from Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. in 1972.
