Metal scoop with wooden handle. The wooden handle is a rectangle with rounded edges and a rounded tip. On the top face is text stamped in red ink reading: "GASTINEAU GROCERY". On the left face is text stamped in red black reading: "TELEPHONE 37". On the right face is text stamped in black ink reading: "HAPPY HOME CANNED FOODS". On the bottom face is text stamped in red ink reading: "WE RECOMMEND". In side the metal scoop is etched text reading: "LEVEL FULL 1/2 CUP A&j \ MADE IN THE U.S.A.". The "A&J" is inclosed in a diamond and the "MADE IN THE U.S.A." is smaller and directly below the diamond's bottom point. The handle and the scoop are connected by a metal piece secured to the scoop by two rivets.
